Every Wednesday is Wine Wednesday in March. Come in any Wednesday and enjoy special wines at $5/glass, $18/bottle, and $9 for a taste of three wines.
Birthday Special. Come celebrate your birthday in March and receive a free dessert plus a $10 gift card from our friends at Gdn of the Gods Catering.
New Beers. To replace the Amarcord micro-brews which are no longer being imported we have added Moretti Rosso Italian red and local Bristol Compass IPA to our beer line-up. If you have other suggestions let us know.
New Produce. We were up in Denver at Coosemans this week looking at some great new produce we will be bringing in for salads and antipasti. Beautiful baby and artisanal vegetables are coming soon. Next month we'll tell you about our plan for making homemade salumi.
Best of the Springs. The Gazette has opened voting for the Best of the Springs 2010 through March 14th. Last year Pizzeria Rustica was voted Best New Restaurant. We can't win that again, but we are hearing we will compete well in Best Pizza and Best Patio Dining. Wednesday, Mar 17th, St Patrick's Day. Half bottle wine special on Deloach pinot noir and $1 off all Bristol Brewing bottles. Yes there will be a green pesto pizza in the Green restaurant!
Tuesday, Mar 23rd, 6pm - Passport to Sicily Wine Dinner Five courses of Sicilian cuisine paired with wines from Sicily or typical of the area. Cost is $49 plus tax and tip with the proceeds benefiting children orphaned by the recent earthquake in Haiti. Reservations are made by calling Coaltrain Wine & Spirits, 719-475-9700.
